OBITUARY Edwin Earl Rukes..Edwin Earl, son of Harrison and Emily Rukes was born March 27 1882, and died November 29, 1896, aged 14 years 8 months and 2 days. A litttle over two years ago his brother Harvey died at the age less one day. Both entering manhoodhood and both promising so much toward being useful men. He leaves a father, mother, two sisters, fivr brothers, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He was dutiful son, a loving brother adn a kid and afectionate friend and playmate. He had a happy, comfortable home, and would, perhaps, have enjoyed living longer with his friends, but we geel that death had no terrors to Eddie. He passed away calmly adn peacefull as if falling to sleep. Resolved, that our hearts are filled with sorrow when we reflect that we shall see his bright and cheerful face no more, Resolved, that we cammot understand the plans of the Almighty we must bow submissively to his will and trust him fo the furture. "Weep not dear friends the Lord knows best"
And he has taken dear Eddie to rest,

And now he's free from pain and woe,
