    • "Samuel Hill, Jr., of Mason, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, a soldier in the French and Indian Wars and in the Revolution, participated in the distribution of his father's estate in 1755. He married 1760-61, Sarah, daughter of Capt. Ebenezer Cutler (and descended from Sir Walter Baskerville, K. B. (1501), of Eardisley, M. P. for Hereford 1476, and Katherine, daughter of Walter Devereaux, Lord Ferrers of Chortley, lineally descended from Edward I, and had issue: Samuel and Ebenezer."
