    Notes
    • Ih-tedda was the 7th or 8th wife of Geronimo. Most sources say she was the 7th. He had met her on the San Carlos Reservation in 1877-78, but they did not have a relationship until he captured her in a raid.

    • Geronimo was married to Zi-yeh and Ih-tedda at the same time, but later divorced Ih-tedda.

    • Ih-tedda died in her nineties in Mescalero, New Mexico, and was the last of the Geronimo wives to die.

    • Her great-grandson, Harlyn GERONIMO still lives in Mescalero, New Mexico, and has petitioned President Bush for the return of Geronimo's remains. This is allegedly opposed by other descendents in Oklahoma.
