  Charlotte "Lottie" Adams rukes. Charlotte was born in Parke County, Indiana August 1, 1888. Charlotte was the daughter of James W. Adams and Hannah Meyer. Charlotte died May 14, 1964 in Clinton, Vermillion county, Indiana, at 75 years of age. Bloomingdale, Ind. May 14, 1964. Mrs. Charlotte "Lottie" Rukes 75, Bloomingdale, died at 3;35 a.m. Thrusday at the Vermillion County Hospital. She was a member of the Bloomingdales Order of the Eastern Star adn Bloomingdale Methodist Church. Suviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marion Glessner of Bloomingdale; a brother Fred Adams of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren adn two step childern. The body was taken to the Cottrell Funeral Home in Rosedale. (Terre Haute Tribune, May 14 1964 p.10)
